Blended Education Pathway

dermaviduals Blended Education Pathway features a series of tiered educational courses designed to advance the level of knowledge for aestheticians throughout Australasia; to ensure best practice and to train a new generation of engaged and inspired Practising Corneotherapists.

A deep understanding of the integumentary system along with the ability to link cosmetic chemistry to specific cells and systems, provides Practising Corneotherapists the ability to educate and coach clients while prescribing efficacious formulations that promote skin health and function.

To aid in your understanding of Corneotherapy, skin barrier disorders, cosmetic chemistry and corneotherapeutic modalities, we have created a blended education pathway that includes online and face-to-face education courses to support your continued growth.

This blended education pathway provides a structured framework for professional development that will make you stand out from the crowd.

Finishing: Level Three

This level of education is going to take your skin histology knowledge to another level as you advance your understanding of common skin conditions, their triggers and causes while elevating yourself as an expert in skin health. 

dermaviduals Skin Conditions Online educational courses designed to support your professional recommendations. Learn how to manage - Pigmentation, Age Management, Hormonal Mediated Acne with the best product solutions to support the skin’s structure and function. Each course is subject to assessment.

Course duration - 3 x 60 minutes

dermaviduals Advanced Skin Histology Atopic Skin Online educational course designed to elevate your understanding of the conditions associated with atopic skin including Eczema and Dermatitis. This course is subject to assessment. 

Course duration - 60 minutes

dermaviduals Advanced Skin Histology Rosacea Online educational course designed to support your understanding of the pathophysiology of the Rosacea Skin, its triggers, subtypes and why it is such a challenging skin barrier disorder. This course is subject to assessment. 

Course duration - 75 minutes

dermaviduals Advanced Skin Histology Keratolytic Disorders Online educational course designed to elevate your understanding of the conditions associated with Keratolytic disorders including: Poor Corneocyte Compaction, Open & Closed Comedones, Milia, Keratosis Pilaris, Psoriasis, Seborrhoeic Dermatitis, Contact Dermatitis, Actinic Keratosis, Squamous and Basal Cell Carcinoma. This course is subject to assessment.

Course duration - 90 minutes

6 x courses to be completed in Finishing: Level Three. 

Total duration of course content: 7 hours
