dermaviduals Blended Education Pathway features a series of tiered educational courses designed to advance the level of knowledge for aestheticians throughout Australasia; to ensure best practice and to train a new generation of engaged and inspired Practising Corneotherapists.

A deep understanding of the integumentary system along with the ability to link cosmetic chemistry to specific cells and systems, provides Practising Corneotherapists the ability to educate and coach clients while prescribing efficacious formulations that promote skin health and function.

To aid in your understanding of Corneotherapy, skin barrier disorders, cosmetic chemistry and corneotherapeutic modalities, we have created a blended education pathway that includes online and face-to-face education courses to support your continued growth.

This blended education pathway provides a structured framework for professional development that will make you stand out from the crowd.

Framework: Level Two

This level of education is designed to broaden your knowledge of the practical application of dermaviduals! Featuring both online educational courses along with face-to-face practical education sessions, your framework level of education will support you in creating the ultimate bespoke recommendations for your clients. 

dermaviduals Product Knowledge Full day face-to-face education session delivered by the Derma Aesthetics Education Team, designed to support your knowledge of all things dermaviduals! Learn about Dr Lautenschlager, our unique Derma Membrane Structure (DMS) cream technology, and all there is to know about dermaviduals formulations while linking cosmetic compositions to skin types and conditions. 

Course duration - 8 hours

dermaviduals Mixology Full day face-to-face education session getting hands on with dermaviduals compounding and becoming a master mixologist as you experiment with active ingredients to create customised treatments that deliver visible results. Learn advanced blending techniques to optimise product efficacy and skin absorption, while building the confidence to recommend bespoke products to your clients - enhancing both their results and their loyalty.

Course duration - 8 hours

*Please note: dermaviduals Product Knowledge and dermaviduals Mixology are considered 1 education session and each must be attended before receiving certification. 

Facial Reflexology Half day face-to-face practical education session to master a specialised technique that elevates your business and sets you apart as you explore how facial reflexology enhances skin health and supports overall balance. Build hands-on skills to address signs of skin and nervous system stress, and leave feeling confident to integrate this treatment straight into your practice. 

Course duration - 3 hours

Skin Types & Advanced Skin Analysis Online educational course designed to support your professional recommendations. Learn how to manage - Diffused Red, Oily and Lipid Dry skin types with the best home care and in-clinic recommendations to support the health of the skin barrier. 

Course duration - 45 minutes

Age Management Online educational course designed to introduce you to the biological levels of cellular ageing covering core subjects such as oxidative stress, lipid-peroxidation, mitochondrial DNA damage, and cellular senescence. We will also explore the dermal degrading enzymes and explore wrinkle formation, before linking cosmetic chemistry to skin structure and function.

Course duration - 60 minutes

Hormonal Mediated Acne Online educational course designed to introduce you to the hormonal medicated acneic skin. Knowledge and understanding of the skin's structure and function surrounding the affected cells and systems, as well as knowing what topical cosmeceuticals are most suitable for this condition, will support you in your level of understanding as to how you can truly manage and achieve sustainable outcomes for this skin barrier disorder.

Course duration - 60 minutes

Pigmentation Online educational course designed to introduce you to the lifecycle of the melanocyte, through to the formation of the pigment-carrying melanosomes within the epidermis as we take you through the skin condition, pigmentation. We will also explore how the melanocyte works in synergy with other cells of the skin barrier defence systems, such as the keratinocyte, before linking cosmetic chemistry to skin structure and function.

Course duration - 60 minutes

7 courses to be completed in Framework: Level Two. 

Total duration of online course content: 4 hours. 

All courses must be completed to move into the next tier of education. 

Level two certificate awarded at the completion of all prerequisite learning modules.
