The duration of this course is approximately 40 minutes.

Wound healing is a complex and dynamic process that starts after injury and continues for months to years as the tissue undergoes remodelling. Thermal Burns: Wound Healing & Management explores the importance of the integumentary system, as well as understanding thermal burns amongst other types of burns, the stages of wound healing, cell-to-cell communication, and corneotherapeutic interventions that are directed to the correction and restoration of the stratum corneum and barrier defence systems.
