What is medical microneedling?

Medical microneedling is a skin treatment modality that invokes a controlled wound healing response using medical grade, stainless steel needles. These needles, in turn, generate an inflammatory response within the sin and result in the production of biological protein molecules such as cytokines and growth factors. These molecules under the right environmental conditions, encourage the production of new collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycans.
